Innovate UK has up to £10 million in loans to SMEs for innovative late stage projects. This loan competition aims to provide loans to help SMEs to undertake game-changing innovations with strong commercial potential across any sector or industry.

Innovation loans will offer affordable, patient, flexible, repayable funding for later-stage research & development projects with a clear route to commercial success. Registration closes 29th August.

There are several regional briefing events taking place between 23rd and 31st July. They are free to attend and will provide invaluable information on innovation loans, including:

• the approach to credit decision-making
• advice on how to prepare a compelling project application
• discussion on sources of funding for growth through innovation.
